The parish office will close at 10:45 AM on Saturday, October 10, to allow the parish staff to attend the funeral of Joan Bartolomei, who served for 9 years as Director of Pastoral Outreach.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of our parishioner, Joan Bartolomei, who also served our parish for nine years as Director of Pastoral Outreach. We commend her to your prayers, and offer our prayerful condolences to her husband, Tom, and her siblings, Judith and John. Services at Our Lady of Sorrows Church are as follows: Rite of Reception - Friday, October 9, from 5:00 to 5:15 p.m., followed by Visitation until 8:00 p.m. Visitation on Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Committal to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

Thanks fo all those who supported the 21st annual parish golf classic, held on September 16 at Mercer Oaks. Under the direction of a very dedicated committee and with the generous support of sponsors and participants, this year's event realized more than $15,700--a record profit!
