On Saturday, May 20, Bishop O'Connell ordained four men as transitional deacons. The ordination took place at the Cathedral of St. Mary in Trenton. We offer our sincere congratulations to Mr. Christopher Dayton, Mr. Michael DeSaye, Br. Nicholas Dolan, and Mr. James Smith as they begin their final year of preparation for the priesthood.

The Knights of Columbus will hold their annual Tootsie Roll Drive for God's Special Children at both Our Lady of Sorrows and St. Anthony churches next weekend (May 20-21).

Thanks to all who returned their pledge cards soon after the 2017 Annual Catholic Appeal was kicked off, our parish is 54% of the way to its goal of $110,000! If you are one of the 381 who made a pledge or a one-time donation, thank you! If, however, you wanted a little time to prayerfully consider pledging, but mislaid your pledge card or haven’t yet returned it, please take this opportunity to do so.

This year, OLS-SA is responsible for June 24th, the 4th Saturday of June. We will be putting together sandwiches in the OLS Cafeteria on Friday, June 23rd, at 6 PM. We will then be setting up, serving, and cleaning up at the Cathedral on Saturday, June 24th, from 8 AM to 2 PM. Jesus asks us to feed the hungry. Please join us, and be a disciple of Jesus!
