We are delighted to inform you that Fr. Joseph A. Tedesco, who served as Pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows from 2003-2005, was elected the fifth Superior of Mepkin Abbey, a Trappist monastery located on the Cooper River outside of Moncks Corner, SC.

The Knights of Columbus and our Parish Respect Life Group extend their thanks to the parishioners for their extraordinary generosity in the Roses for Life Sale. The sale raised $957. Funds will be used to help fund a bus to the March for Life and for assistance to pregnancy aid centers.

Honored at CYO Mercer’s 2018-19 basketball league opening day mass on November 3 were Grace Jakim (Female Athlete of the Year) and Jim Primerano (CYO Scholar Athlete Team member), both 2018 graduates of OLS School. National Vocation Awareness Week is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promote vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.
