On May 19 & 20 representatives from Anchor House will be visiting both parish churches to ask for your support for the 40th Annual Ride for Runaways. This 500-mile bike ride from Harrisonburg (VA) to Trenton (NJ) is the primary fundraising event for Anchor House.

During April, 264.5 hours of service were provided by 41 volunteers to 50 persons. For more information, click the article title.

If you missed signing up but have an hour a week to serve one of our elderly or disabled neighbors, it's not too late! Just call or email as above.

The Diocesan Department of Pastoral Care’s Respect Life Ministries will offer a presentation and discussion about Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats on Wednesday, May 23, at 7:30 p.m. The presentation will take place in St. Joseph’s Parish Ministry Center, 509 Hooper Ave, Toms River. Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats offer healing from the psychological and spiritual wounds of abortion. The presentation is open to all who want to learn more about this healing ministry. No pre-registration or RSVP is needed.

Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County will hold a workshop entitled Scams against Seniors: How Can They Protect Themselves? on Thursday, May 24, at 2 pm in the Auditorium at St Vincent De Paul Church. If you’d like to attend, RSVP to the ICGMC office (393-9922) by Monday, May 14.
