After all Masses next weekend (August 18-19), the Knights of Columbus, in conjunction with the OLS-SA Respect Life group, will be assisting New Jersey Right to Life by selling chances on a 2019 Volvo XC40 AWD SUV valued at $43,500 with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th prizes of ShopRite Gift Certificates. Proceeds will benefit New Jersey Right to Life, New Jersey’s oldest & largest organization dedicated to protecting all human life from conception to natural death. The Food Pantry Partnership has a pressing need for peanut butter and jelly, although they will also happily accept all types of non-perishable food, and can always use staples such as tuna, pasta, and spaghetti sauce. In a word? Yes! Our clothing choices reflect the importance we place on an event. Yet Americans have a penchant for comfort that translates into casual clothing, especially outside the workplace. Reading is an integral part of education, and many children don’t have access to the books they need. If you have unneeded books appropriate for students of grades PreK-8, you can donate them, and know that there will be children who are able to read who otherwise would not enjoy that experience.
