We are calling all high school teenagers, college students, young adults, and youth leaders to join us for a week of service, friendships, spiritual growth, and memories that will last a lifetime. The week of July 7 - 12, 2019, BOLD will be sending teens from multiple parishes to Hartford, CT for a week of service and fun with Catholic Heart Work Camp.

All youth and their families are invited to this event, including Jr. High and High School students, young adults, scouting groups, altar servers, religious education families, and families from the parish who aren't involved with any of the other groups. The youth of our cohort will be gathering at St. Raphael - Holy Angels Church for a night of adoration on April 28th. This will be an all-night event. Details will be coming shortly.

Love is not simply a feeling; it is a decision. (Marriage Encounter principle) When the feeling fades – and it will at times – recommit to building your relationship. DO something loving for your spouse. Feelings are transient; love goes beyond feelings.

This Saturday, our parish offers a joyful welcome to His Excellency who will be here to confer the Sacrament of Confirmation on our young candidates. As we pray for those who will soon be “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit,” let us commend to the Lord, our Bishop that he may continue to minister in good health and happiness “ad multos annos!”

Our parish Social Justice Committee will hold a clothing and housewares drive to benefit Better Community Housing of Trenton, on the weekends of March 30-31 and April 6-7. Click the article title for more information!

Hamilton Council#6213, Knights of Columbus, will be holding an oldies dance on Friday, April 26, from 7 to 11 pm at Columbus Hall (1451 Klockner Rd, Hamiton Township). The cost of the event is $30 per person and includes a Summer Buffet Dinner, wine, beer, soda, coffee, & tea.

Bearing Hope is a free peer-led support group that fosters healing, hope, and prayers for women currently struggling with infertility and pregnancy loss and other women wishing to share their own experiences. The group meets the first Tuesday of every month from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Bachmann Room at St. Gregory the Great Parish Center. For more information, click the article title.

Interfaith Caregivers of Greater Mercer County is offering a free nine-week Stress Busting program for family caregivers of persons with a chronic disease. This program is not for caregivers of those suffering with dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease. The program starts on April 4. For more information, click the article title.

If you’re too busy to pray, you’re too busy. Pick a specific and regular time each day to say a prayer for your spouse such as, “Dear God, bless _____ today.” It might be when you start the car, wash your hands, brush your teeth, etc. It’s short, doesn’t take any extra time, just extra awareness of your beloved and entrusting him or her to God’s care. This works for kids too.
