The solicitude of the Mother of the Savior is solicitude for the work of salvation, the work of her Son, for the eternal salvation of all mankind...Since that 13th day of May, 1917, it is difficult not to see how this saving love of the Mother embraces our century with its rays in a special manner. Armed Forces Day is the proper day to honor all of the men and women currently serving as well as those who have served and sacrificed to defend our freedom. Armed Forces Day is celebrated on the third Saturday in May.

Our prayerful good wishes accompany our good neighbor to the east, Fr. Michael McClane who will assume his new duties as Pastor of St. Paul’s Parish, Princeton, effective July 1. We welcome to Hamilton and as a member of our Cohort, Fr. Michael Hall, who will succeed Fr. McClane as Pastor. Despite government restrictions—imposed in April to decrease the spread of COVID-19—which meant that Caring Hearts’ services could not be safely provided in exactly the same way as usual, our 36 “parish heroes” still gave 118.5 hours of service to 32 persons.
