On this Labor Day, let us remember those without work and without hope. Too often in our public discourse anger trumps wisdom, myth outweighs fact, and slogans replace solutions. During August, 191 hours of service were cheerfully provided by 36 volunteers to 35 persons. Caring Hearts volunteers provide non-medical services including “virtual visits” to our homebound elderly and disabled neighbors.
