This year, the Solemnity of the Lord’s Ascension will be observed on Sunday, May 16 rather than the traditional Thursday. Thus this Thursday, May 13, is not a holy day of obligation this year. We shall celebrate the Ascension on the following Sunday.

Along with the Christmas Collection, the Easter appeal is one of the most important of the year. Join us the day before Father's Day with other men, sons, brothers, and friends from around the Diocese to hike the Dunnfield Creek Natural Area to the top of Mount Tammany (via the Tammany Blue Dot Trail). The hike will culminate with Mass at the summit, and we'll be back to our homes by early afternoon to enjoy the remainder of Father's Day weekend with our families.

During this Year of St. Joseph, we shall have a lamp burning weekly before his image in both churches. Anyone who wishes to dedicate this votive lamp for a deceased loved one or another special intention, please contact the parish. The suggested offering for this seven-day candle is $15.

Mass intentions for Thomas Lynch, John & Catherine Grant, and Robert Lecato, inadvertently scheduled for the 9:30 Mass at St Anthony on Easter Sunday, have been rescheduled for the following Sunday’s 9:30 Mass.

Good Friday is a day of fast and abstinence: All Catholics 18 - 59 years of age are restricted to one full meal. Two lesser meals are permitted. All Catholics over 14 years of age must abstain from meat.
