The Rosary Altar Society is hosting a Day of Recollection on Saturday, October 15 from 8 AM to Noon, at Our Lady of Sorrows campus. You don't have to be a member to come! Details will be coming soon.

The Rosary Altar Society is a parish confraternity whose members seek to enhance the spiritual, social and cultural life of our parish through liturgical service, prayer, and devotion to the gospel teachings, while honoring the desire of our Lord to better know, love, and venerate His Mother. Among the seven sacraments, there is one especially intended to strengthen those who are ill—the Anointing of the Sick. While the Sacrament serves to comfort the dying, it is not only for those at the point of death. It is intended to help the chronically ill and the elderly who are in a weakened condition. The Holy Name Society is an organization for men devoted to serving the needs of the parish. It aims to promote reverence for the Holy Name of Jesus, foster the spiritual life through prayer and retreats, Eucharistic adoration, visits to the sick, and support of Catholic education. Meetings will resume in October.
