As the new year begins, there are many issues in society that challenge our Catholic moral and social teachings. Opposition to abortion remains our ‘pre-eminent priority. During the month of January when we acknowledge the 48th anniversary of the fateful Supreme Court Roe v. Pray and fast on the first Friday of each month remaining in 2020 to attain equal rights for babies in the womb. The first goal is to pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (A-2228/S429), which will ban abortion after 20 weeks post fertilization. Our parish Respect Life Ministry hosts a group rosary Wednesdays at 6:45 pm at an online Zoom conference. You’re invited to join them in praying as a group for an end to both abortion and the Covind-19 pandemic. Consider joining this rosary group.
