Corporate Sunday is May 3 at St. Anthony Church. The monthly meeting will be held on Monday, May 11. Thanks to all who visited the recent Shroud of Turin Exhibit sponsored by our “Lumen Christi Cohort.” We hope this Cohort initiative, appropriately held during Lent, inspired and educated the faithful on this extraordinary relic that reveals the extent of the Lord’s passion and death. We congratulate the fifty-one boys and girls who will be receiving the Holy Eucharist for the first time this Saturday, May 2. We thank their parents and catechists for preparing them so well for this sacred encounter.

The Diocesan Office of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) is seeking a Catholic committed to social justice for an internship program. The intern will work 10 to 14 hours per week through the school year or possibly during the summer. If interested, click here for more information.

This month's prayer shawl meeting will be held on Monday, April 20, at 1:00 PM in the Church Meeting Room. Please bring any completed projects to donate, and any extra yarn you will not be needing. We welcome new members, even if you don't yet know how to crochet. We would be happy to teach you!

This Friday we look forward to our Knight to Remember Gala! If past years are any indicator, this year’s celebration will certainly be an extraordinary celebration. We shall once again honor individuals who exemplify the faith and values that our parish upholds. I congratulate them and thank them for their inspiring witness and generosity. No one would want it to snow at Easter, but we would like you to recall the impact of snow of the winter season when you consider making your Easter gift to the parish. The cost of snow plowing was especially high due to multiple storms and the size of our two church and school campuses. In light of this extraordinary expense, we ask everyone to be extra generous to the parish this Easter. And we thank you!
