All Palm Crosses, whether requested for delivery at OLS or St Anthony, must be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday or Saturday, March 27 and 28, in the parking lot by the priests' garages at Our Lady of Sorrows.

The Rosary Altar Society is conducting its Annual Palm Cross Sale, the proceeds of which benefit our parish. If you ordered one or more wreaths from the Rosary Altar Society, please remember to pick them up after one of the Saturday evening or Sunday morning masses this weekend (December 7-8) at the pick-up site you specified on your order form. On Sunday, October 13th, the 102nd anniversary of the Fatima Miracle of the Sun, Rosary rallies are taking place: along coasts and borders; at state capitols; in parks; on beaches; along busy streets; as well as outside and inside Churches and Shrines. Many others are joining in from wherever they can to pray the Rosary simultaneously at 4 pm Eastern, 3 pm Central, 2 pm Mountain, 1 pm Mountain, noon Alaska, 10 am Hawaii. The 15TH Annual Regional Rosary Altar Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, at 9:30 am, at St Raphael-Holy Angels Parish (3500 S Broad St, Hamilton). All active and inactive Rosarians are invited to this special celebration of unity and devotion to the Blessed Mother.

The Rosary Altar Society of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony is sponsoring a day of recollection on October 19, featuring a presentation on "A Morning with Mary through Art, Music, and Scripture" presented by Susan Commini.

The month of October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. The liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7. During the month of October, let us consider this beautiful prayer of the Rosary as a means that we too can use in order to draw closer to Jesus and Mary by meditating on the great mysteries of our salvation. All women of the parish are graciously invited to join the Rosary Altar Society. Rosarians will be available at St. Anthony’s Church on “Martha Sunday,” on April 14, to provide information about membership. We encourage you to visit us and join us on this spiritual journey through life with the Blessed Mother.

If you signed up for the Rosary Altar Society’s April 3 bus trip to see the Sight & Sound Production of Jesus, please note that the bus will arrive at OLS at 7:45 am and depart OLS at 8:00 am sharp. Please park along the back fence. You will return to OLS at approximately 6 pm.

This weekend, March 30-31, is your last chance to order a Palm Cross. The cross is approximately 12 x 20" and made of looped palms on a wooden cross, and mounted on a stake, which makes a suitable cemetery adornment. Click the article title for more details.

This year's mission is the Lumen Christi Cohort Mission 2019, and will be hosted at St. Raphael Church. Our parish will be hosting the second night, which means we will be providing the greeters, ushers, book sale staff, and child care, and we need your help to do this!
