It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of our parishioner, Joan Bartolomei, who also served our parish for nine years as Director of Pastoral Outreach. We commend her to your prayers, and offer our prayerful condolences to her husband, Tom, and her siblings, Judith and John. Services at Our Lady of Sorrows Church are as follows: Rite of Reception - Friday, October 9, from 5:00 to 5:15 p.m., followed by Visitation until 8:00 p.m. Visitation on Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Committal to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

We welcome Mrs. Susan Commini to our pastoral staff. Susan will be assisting families in the preparation of funeral liturgies as well as setting engaged couples on the road of their marriage preparation. After nearly 9 years of service to our parish, we must bid farewell to our parish secretary, Doreen Griffin Galway, who will be taking a position in the Diocesan Office of Catechesis & Evangelization, effective June 10. Our new parish secretary will be Mrs. Doris Cordero. We offer her our good wishes as she takes up her duties. Please make her feel welcome!
