This Friday, October 19, the Mount Carmel Guild will hold its annual gala and our own Deacon Jeff has been singled out for special honors. The Guild has chosen well—Deacon Jeff, in addition to his parish ministry, has long served as chaplain at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Hamilton, and currently volunteers at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton. We express our gratitude to all those who helped to prepare and carry out the beautiful funeral rites for our dear Deacon, Tim Moore. Thanks, too, to Ruth Woodcock, her many helpers, and the ladies of our Rosary Altar Society for setting up and serving the luncheon that followed the Mass in our school cafeteria. We are beholden to our school community for accommodating Deacon Tim's family and friends during the school day.
