Our parish will celebrate our patronal feast this weekend (September 11-12). As a rule, the Sunday liturgy would be celebrated, but since Our Lady of Sorrows is the co-patroness of our parish and the titular of the church, we are permitted to use the texts of Our Lady's Mass, since a patronal feast is given the rank of "Solemnity". Let us gather with joy to thank Our Lady for her maternal care and implore her continued intercession for our parish family.

Our Catechetical Year begins on Sunday, September 19. This year, our Sunday and Wednesday classes will be conducted virtually for Grades K, 1, and 3–7. Children in grades 2 and 8 will be preparing for the sacraments, and will meet in person. Click the article title for details.

Effective September 10, the parish office will again be open from 9 to 4 on Fridays, except on holidays and during emergency situations. Office hours on Mondays through Thursdays remain 9 to 5, unless otherwise noted. At this time, there are no evening or weekend office hours.

Take a small respite from a busy Saturday and join the members of the Rosary Altar Society as we reflect on the question: “Was Mary, the Blessed Virgin, Prefigured in Scripture?”

Thanks to all who generously contributed to a new statue of St. Anthony, we have reached our goal! The hand-carved linden wood image, crafted by Demetz Studio of Ortisei, Italy, is in production and will take a few months to arrive.
