Today our parish celebrates the Church’s “Rite of Welcome” for those who are preparing to receive the Sacraments of the Eucharist and/or Confirmation.

Do you—or does someone you know—want to become a Catholic or, if already baptized Catholic, to receive the sacraments of First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which non-Catholics enter the Roman Catholic Faith. For more information on RCIA, click here.

Is something “lost” with the reception of the Sacred Host alone? While Holy Communion under both species provides a “fuller sign” of the Eucharistic mystery, the Lord Jesus is “fully present” under each species. This is called the doctrine of “concomitance.” Click here for more information.

Four summer sessions will be held for incoming RCIA candidates (those looking to convert to the Catholic Church as well as those who need to complete their Sacraments), and those who may be gathering information for themselves or others. Click here for more information.
