Our parish will celebrate a new tradition following the "Bambinelli Sunday" tradition begun at the Vatican. All are invited to bring the Christ-child figure from their home creche to Mass on the third Sunday of Advent (December 17) to be blessed. Click here for more information.

Beginning on the weekend of December 2-3, the Church will be celebrating the season of Advent, a time to anticipate the birth of Christ, the Light of the World. Families are invited to carry the lighted Advent candle in the procession at the beginning of each weekend Mass. Sign up to "adopt" a child or even a family, buy and wrap presents for them, and bring them to the OLS School cafeteria on Sunday, December 10, for distribution. A sacramental confession is always a great blessing and source of grace, especially in preparation for the Church's great feasts. In addition to the regular Saturday confessions on December 10 and 17, we are providing an additional time on Tuesday, December 20, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. There will be NO scheduled confession times on Saturday, December 24.

Starting the weekend of November 26 - 27, the Church will be celebrating the season of Advent. Our parish will return to its tradition of inviting families to carry the lighted Advent candle in procession at the beginning of each weekend Mass. If your family is interested in participating in this special tradition, please arrive at church 20 minutes before Mass starts and let the deacon know that you are interested in carrying in the Advent candle.
