Blessing of Your Baby Jesus

For the past several decades, each year on Gaudete Sunday (the Third Sunday of Advent) children bring their Christ-child figures from the creche at their homes to St. Peter’s Square where the Pope will bless both the people and the figurines. This day is known as “Bambinelli Sunday.”

This year our parish will celebrate this tradition at the 11:00 Mass on December 17. All are invited to bring the Christ-child figure from their homes to Mass that morning to be blessed!
