However, Planned Parenthood sued, and a preliminary court ordered injunction was granted that requires taxpayer funding to continue. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops invites Catholics to pray daily throughout this month to end taxpayer funding of the abortion industry, invoking St. Joseph, Defender of Life.
