Volunteers are needed for the Cohort Mission on October 6, 7, and 8,
to direct traffic in the parking lot,
to greet people when they arrive,
to show them to seats (especially for the handicapped and hearing impaired), and
to make sure any debris left in the church is cleaned up.
It is not necessary to volunteer for all nights; one night is enough. However, we wouldn't turn down anyone offering to volunteer for more than one night. And don't be concerned that you don't know what to do—there will be an orientation meeting on Monday, September 29, at 7:00 PM at St. Anthony Church.
We are also hoping for volunteers to bake or bring desserts and snacks to the reception at the end of the Mission, on Wednesday, October 8.
Last, but not least, we could use help during the reception to refill coffee pots and monitor and refill desserts, as well as helping clean up afterward.
To volunteer, please contact Liz Briseno ([email protected]), or call Lea Novak (609) 203-4981.
Please support our parish in this cohort endeavor. We are the hosts; let's make sure people feel welcome! Thank you!
