Bishop O'Connell has granted a dispensation from the obligation to abstain from meat on Friday, March 17th, in honor of St. Patrick's Day. However, those who take advantage of the dispensation are asked to transfer the Friday abstinence obligation to another day, or to perform a work of charity or some other exercise of piety to fulfill the spirit of the obligation.

This year's Lenten Work of Love is to assist the refugees of the war in the Ukraine, who are now in Poland. Please be generous, and put your donations in the containers at the doors of the church. Click here for more information.

This year, the penitential season of Lent begins on February 22. Please bring in all old palms to be burned and used for ashes on Ash Wednesday. There are containers at all the church exit doors on the weekends to hold the palms. Please bring all palms in before February 19.
