St Anthony of Padua Music Ministry presents Mary Klein in Recital featuring piano works of Schubert, Brahms, and Rachmaninoff, on Sunday, August 21, at 3:30 PM. Admission is $10. The Church is located at 121 Bridge Ave in Red Bank.

Music is a very important part of our liturgical celebrations. An Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC) is a Catholic adult lay person who assists the priests and deacons in the distribution of the Blessed Sacrament at Mass or in visits to the sick or homebound when an adequate number of ordained ministers are not available. One of the first people one meets on entering church on Saturday evening or Sunday morning is an usher. The usher has an important role, even if it is not always apparent. For more information on the role of the usher, or for contact information to volunteer, click the article title.

If you have a love of the sacred liturgy and would enjoy planning special events and decorating the church throughout the year, you might consider joining out liturgy committee. We should like to maintain the custom of parishioners bringing up the offertory gifts during our weekend Masses. However, we have found that many people hesitate to bring the gifts forward or do not present them at all. This has caused us to omit the presentation at a few Masses. Are you able to give 1-2 hours approximately 8 times a year caring for our parish altar linens at St Anthony Church?
