An Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC) is a Catholic adult lay person who assists the priests and deacons in the distribution of the Blessed Sacrament at Mass or in visits to the sick or homebound when an adequate number of ordained ministers are not available. If you have a love of the sacred liturgy and would enjoy planning special events and decorating the church throughout the year, you might consider joining out liturgy committee. We should like to maintain the custom of parishioners bringing up the offertory gifts during our weekend Masses. However, we have found that many people hesitate to bring the gifts forward or do not present them at all. This has caused us to omit the presentation at a few Masses. Are you able to give 1-2 hours approximately 8 times a year caring for our parish altar linens at St Anthony Church?
