As we approach the month of May, a time we honor our heavenly and earthly mothers, let us remember to keep in prayer unborn children and their mothers. St. Gregory the Great is hosting Dr. R. J. Snell to speak about the Challenges and Dangers of Losing Our Religious Freedom in the United States. Monday, January 22, marks the 51st anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe vs Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide. While on June 24, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court, in a 6-3 decision, overturned the ruling, it moved the debate on abortion to the States. Thus, the work of establishing a culture of life where every human person is protected from conception to natural death continues. We can be sure that this volatile issue will continue to be played out in the public square, especially in this election year. Click here to find out about your part in this struggle.

This Monday our nation honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a civil rights activist born on January 15 who was shot and killed in 1968 at the age of 39. He helped millions of Americans turn against racism and violence. He once posed a powerful challenge: “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

The Co-Cathedral of St Robert Bellarmine (61 Georgia Road in Freehold) will host A Night of Worship on February 9, from 7 to 9 pm. Praise & worship adoration will be followed by a concert with singer-songwriter Dana Catherine.
