Annual Mission Appeal Next Weekend

Each year parishes in the Diocese of Trenton are invited to become more conscious of and more involved in the Mission Activity of the Catholic Church throughout the world by participating in the Mission Co-operative Plan of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. Sister Lisa Marie Valentini, of the Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in Reading, Pennsylvania, will visit Our Lady of Sorrows – St. Anthony next weekend to tell us about the Mission work done by the Sisters in her Congregation. Founded in 1900 specifically to be missionaries they are currently serving in 20 countries including India, Namibia, Angola, the Philippines, Perú, Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Korea, China, and Vietnam.
