Devotions

The Catholic Church offers many different ways to approach God in prayer, both individually and as a community. At Our Lady of Sorrows - St. Anthony, the following community devotions are regularly scheduled:

Eucharistic Adoration

Rosary

On the First Sunday of the month for Corporate Sunday, the Rosary is recited.

• From July to December, Corporate Sunday is held at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church with the recitation of the rosary at 8:30 am followed by the 9:00 am Mass.
• From January to June, Corporate Sunday is held at the St. Anthony Church, with the recitation of the rosary at 9:30 am followed by Mass at 10:00.

All parishioners are invited to join in the recitation of the rosary for our parish community, world peace, an end to abortion and terrorism, for the intentions of the Pope, and for the special intentions of all those present.

Stations of the Cross (Via Crucis)

During Lent, the parish offers two opportunities each week to participate in the Stations of the Cross:

• Fridays, 7:00 pm, Our Lady of Sorrows Church (no Eucharistic Benediction)
• Fridays, 7:00 pm, St. Anthony Church (in Creole)
