Our Religious Education program depends on the generosity of parish families.
Each family is asked to volunteer at least once during the school year to help support our students, catechists, and parish community.
Whether you can help just once or throughout the year, there’s a role for everyone!
For the safety of all children in our care:
Any adult who volunteers more than once a month or works directly with students must complete a fingerprint and background check in accordance with Diocesan policy.
Training and clear instructions will be provided for all roles.
These volunteer roles support special events and one-time needs throughout the year.
They’re a perfect fit for families who want to help but can’t commit weekly.
You can sign up for a single event, or come back and help again when your schedule allows!
Hospitality Team: Helps with setup, refreshments, and cleanup for parent meetings, retreats, and parish gatherings. No experience needed, just a willingness to lend a hand and a smile. Volunteers are contacted a few times a year when events are scheduled.
Photographer / Publicity: Takes photos during parish or Religious Education events for parish communications, such as the bulletin, website, or photo gallery. (Parental consent is always respected.) If you love capturing joyful moments, this is a great way to contribute without a regular commitment.
Special Talents & Event Helpers: Share your gifts, such as music, art, crafts, decorating, organizing, sewing, or event planning - to help make parish events special.
Volunteers are often needed for:
Family Faith Events (Advent, Lent, Easter)
Sacramental Celebrations (First Communion & Confirmation)
The Christmas Play: Musicians, singers, and behind-the-scenes helpers are especially needed each year.
These roles are flexible and can be tailored to your interests or skills.
