Our Summer Project is underway, and we have received four bids, with oversight by our Diocesan Office of Property and Construction. Owing to the high expense involved, we are devoting two summer project appeals to help defray the cost. Click here for more information.
This is an annual appeal that runs from July 1 through September 1, to fund a specific project to enhance or provide capital improvements on both parish campuses. The project is identified by the pastor and Finance Council. This appeal reduces the parish's reliance on investment income or savings to keep our facilities well maintained, and supplements the weekly collection.
Summer Project 2026
Our 15th annual Summer Project appeal is on the horizon and parishioners should receive information of this year’s project in the mail. Your generosity over the years has helped defray the costs of many improvements to our parish campuses.
Our parish finance council has endorsed this year’s project: the milling, paving and line striping of the parking lot of Our Lady of Sorrows Campus. Due to the high expense involved, the council has recommended that we also dedicate next year’s summer project revenue to this work. The parking lot of St. Anthony Campus will also receive a “fresh” striping. May I suggest once again a gift of $100.00? I certainly understand what goes into supporting a family and maintaining a household. I ask that you do your utmost to be generous to this appeal, giving as your means allow. Please use the special envelope you receive and return it by way of the collection, office visit, or regular post between July 1-September 1.
