This month's prayer shawl meeting will be held on Monday, April 20, at 1:00 PM in the Church Meeting Room. Please bring any completed projects to donate, and any extra yarn you will not be needing. We welcome new members, even if you don't yet know how to crochet. We would be happy to teach you!

Our First Holy Communicants will be sharing bread with you during the weekend of April 25–26. If you receive bread, please keep them in your prayers, as this is their service project to share with others. Thank you.

We invite all children ages 4 through 11 to join us on July 6 though 10 for a wonderful week of learning, fun activities, and growing in faith. Sessions are from 8 AM to 12 PM. Click here for a link to more information.

If you have a child or know of a child between the ages of 6 and 14 and would be interested in his or her baptism, we would be delighted to prepare them through a one-week program in July. Click here for more information.

This Friday we look forward to our Knight to Remember Gala! If past years are any indicator, this year’s celebration will certainly be an extraordinary celebration. We shall once again honor individuals who exemplify the faith and values that our parish upholds. I congratulate them and thank them for their inspiring witness and generosity. Feeding the hungry never ceases to be important. Food pantries always need staples such as peanut butter, jelly, cereal, soup, pasta, pasta sauce, and canned vegetables, but any non-perishables you can donate to Mt Carmel Guild or St Raphael’s Food Pantry are greatly appreciated. Just place them in the receptacles at the doors of our churches.

The Paschal Candle, a symbol of the presence of the Risen Christ among the People of God, that remains in the sanctuary throughout the Easter Season and is lighted for all baptisms and funerals through the year, is the generous gift in loving remembrance of Patricia "Patty" Bartram. The next meeting of the Holy Name Society is Friday, April 17th, at 12:00 Noon in the Church Library. All men are welcome!

The OLS PTA is sponsoring a Cash Bingo, to be held on April 17. Doors open at 6 PM; games start at 7 PM. There is a $35 admission fee, paid at the door. Click here for more information.

Congratulations to those young parishioners who were confirmed on March 28, 2026. We thank their parents, sponsors, and catechists, who prepared them for the gift of the Holy Spirit, and Msgr. Joseph N Rosie, who conferred the sacrament.
