Rite of Welcoming - Acceptance into the order of Catechumens - Everyone must attend. Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows on December 4, 2022

Events for the unbaptized - Everyone should attend

• Rite of Sending - 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Anthony on February 26, 2023
• Rite of Election/Enrollment of Names - time to be determined at St. Robert

Bellarmine, Co-Cathedral on February 26, 2023 

• First Scrutiny - 11:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows on March 12, 2023
• Second Scrutiny - 11:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows on March 19, 2023
• Third Scrutiny - 11:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows on March 26, 2023

Please remember all sponsors must attend all these events.Holy Saturday - Everyone must attend

Practice 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony on April 8, 2023

Easter Vigil - Important Event - Sacraments for the unbaptized and those being received into the Church. 7:30 p.m. Mass at St. Anthony on April 8, 2023 - arrival time between 6:45 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Pentecost - Important Event - Sacraments for Catholics needing First Communion and/or Confirmation. OLS 11:00 a.m. Mass on May 28, 2023 - arrival time 10:30 a.m.

REQUIREMENTS

• Birth Certificate
• Baptismal Certificate – If you do not have a copy, contact the Church at which you were Baptized.
• Certificate of First Holy Communion - If you do not have a copy, contact the Church at which you received First Holy Communion.
• Sponsor Certificate - Sponsors must be at least 16 years of age and have received all the Sacraments of Initiation.

All required documents must be turned in as soon as possible but no later than 2 weeks prior to the Rite of Welcoming,  December 4, 2022
