A Visit to Saint Frances Cabrini Shrine
St. Frances Cabrini Shrine in New York City is a place of pilgrimage, prayer, and personal spiritual renewal. The Shrine is home to the major relics of the first American citizen saint. Upon arrival we will celebrate Holy Mass celebrated by Msgr. Gervasio. Following Mass will be a brief talk on St Frances Cabrini and time to explore the Shrine and Gift Shop. We will enjoy lunch of Caesar Salad and Assorted Paninis at the Shrine
The Met Cloisters
Governed by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Cloisters incorporates five medieval cloisters, The museum evokes the architecture of the Middle Ages and displays medieval metalwork, painting, sculpture, stained glass, and textiles. It is also renowned for its three cloister gardens, which were designed as an integral part of the museum when it was built. We will enjoy a guided highlight tour.
Note: Accessibility at The Met Cloisters is somewhat limited for wheelchair and stroller users and others who need step-free access due to the building's landmark status. A free shuttle service is available to visitors requiring step-free access to enter the building. Reservation and full payment due at the Parish Office by October 15.
