Catholic Dedication of the Months of the Year

Most of us know March is the Month of St. Joseph, May, the Month of Mary, June the Month of the Sacred Heart, October dedicated to the Holy Rosary….but what about July? July is dedicated to the Precious Blood of Jesus. Pope St. Clement I, circa 96 A.D. wrote:

"Let us fix our gaze on the Blood of Christ and realize how truly precious It is, seeing that it was poured out for our salvation and brought the grace of conversion to the whole world."

Lord Jesus, you became Man in order by your Passion and Death and the shedding of your Blood on the Cross, might prove how much You love us. Strengthen our feeble wills so that we will not run away from the cross and dying to ourselves in time we might live with You in Eternity. Amen
