Our Homeschooling Program allows parents to lead their children’s faith formation at home while staying connected to our parish community.
It’s a flexible option for families who prefer to integrate religious education into their weekly routine while maintaining full participation in parish life.
Families receive textbooks, lesson plans, and online instructions from the Religious Education Office.
Throughout the year, parents and students are expected to:
Attend weekly Mass together.
Participate in four parish gatherings held between Advent and Easter.
Complete weekly online chapter reviews to track progress.
Meet with the Director of Religious Education in May for a brief review and discussion of what students have learned.
This program is open to Grades 3-6 and is designed to support families with busy schedules while ensuring children grow in knowledge, faith, and connection to their parish.
How is the Homeschooling Program organized?
The program runs from September through May. Textbooks and lesson plans are provided to parents, along with clear weekly objectives. Students and parents attend four parish gatherings between Advent and Easter.
How does this program stay connected to the parish?
Our office maintains regular communication with families and oversees progress through the online review system. Families also strengthen their connection to parish life by attending Sunday Mass and participating in parish events.
What does home instruction look like?
Parents should cover one chapter per week following the provided lesson plan. Each chapter includes exercises and discussion prompts to help children understand and apply what they learn.
Parents submit a weekly online chapter review, and at the end of the year, families meet with teh Director for a short conversation about the year’s lessons and an informal oral review.
