We are pleased to announce that at Council Elections held on June 16, Mr. Gerald Sanvardine, OFS, was selected to serve as the Minister of “Spirit of St. Francis Fraternity” of the Secular Franciscan Order.

The Fraternity meets monthly at Saint Anthony Church for the celebration of the 9:30 Sunday Mass and a meeting. This Franciscan Community serves Catholics of the greater Trenton area who wish to bring the Gospel to life where they live and work. They seek ways to embrace the Gospel in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi.

We offer our prayers for Mr. Sanvardine as he assumes his responsibilities as Minister. We hasten to add our congratulations and good wishes to our parishioner, Connie Starling, who has completed her term of service as the Fraternity’s Minister.

We are pleased that the fraternity claims Saint Anthony Church as its spiritual home.
