June, Dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Since the Church was born from the pierced side of Christ, from his Sacred Heart, let us during this month contemplate the pierced Heart of our Savior. We contemplate the  incredible love, mercy and compassion, that Jesus has bestowed upon us. Let us pray that Christ might dwell in our hearts that we might know the love of Christ which surpasses all knowledge. When Christ dwells in our hearts, we are moved to live the great commandments of love of God and neighbor. We are motivated to open our hearts to Christ so that they might be filled with love for our brothers and sisters. In this way, we learn to live Jesus’ commandment: Love one another as I have loved you.
