Loaves and Fishes Is Back!

The Loaves and Fishes Community of the Diocese of Trenton serves meals on the last two Saturdays of every month all year long at St. Mary's Cathedral in Trenton. Due to Covid19 protocols, OLS-SA’s participation the last few years has involved less direct contact, but we are now planning to return to “normal.”

Our parish will again be participating in the sandwich making and meal serving activities associated with this annual service project.

Our Lady of Sorrows - St. Anthony will make and assemble bagged lunches on Friday, June 24, beginning at 5:00 PM in the school cafeteria, and host the meal on Saturday, June 25. The bagged lunches will be given to attendees at the Saturday dinner.

Volunteers are needed to help out with the various facets of this event. There are both “behind the scenes” opportunities (such as sandwich-making) and time slots available to help at the dinner. Please see next week’s bulletin for details on how you can serve Jesus!
