Meditation on the Heart of Jesus

It is in the Heart of Jesus that we must enkindle our apostolic zeal for souls. It is in him that we find a furnace burning with charity for souls…A burning furnace dies down little by little. The Heart of Jesus, on the contrary, is an unquenchable furnace. In this way it is like the burning bush in the Book of Exodus…the bush that burned but was not consumed. The love that burns in the Heart of Jesus is, more than anything else, the Holy Spirit.
