Long Catholic tradition dedicates the month of March to Saint Joseph, the Husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Guardian of our Savior. He is honored as Patron of the Universal Church, of husband and fathers, workers, and of a happy death. His solemnity is celebrated on March 19 but let us turn to him in prayer throughout this month.
“Go to Joseph with extreme confidence,” said St. Pio of Pietrelcina, “because I do not remember having asked anything from Saint Joseph, without having obtained it readily.”
