You can enter through the doors closest to the street, or through the doors at the rear (where the elevator is), and go around inside toward the street side of the basement.The Prayer Shawl Meeting is held on the second Monday of every month, at 1:00 PM in the Church Meeting Room at Our Lady of Sorrows. We make prayer shawls for nursing home residents, cancer patients, and assisted living facility residents; dialysis blankets for patients undergoing dialysis; and baby blankets for the babies of women who have turned to local pregnancy centers for help. New member are always welcome, even if you don't currently know how to crochet. We would be happy to teach you! (Knitters are also welcome, although we don't guarantee that we can teach knitting!)
If you have excess yarn that you would like to donate, you can also drop that off at our meeting! But please, do not drop it at the parish office...come to the meeting, or make arrangements through the parish office for our chairwoman to be there at another time to receive it.
