An Update on the Pollinator Garden by Sue McGuinness
We've been spraying the Bermuda grass with an organic natural weed killer made with clove oil and menthol. It has reduced some of the grass but most will require pulling up. We're going to do another planting to fill in areas where we removed the grass.
The volunteer tomatoes are doing well. We found our first Monarch caterpillar on August 23. We've also seen Black Swallowtail, Eastern Leaf-footed bug and Peck's Skipper. The garden is doing very well.
