COVID-19 protocols will govern the imposition of ashes. Ashes will be imposed at the end of the Mass. They will be traced on the forehead using a Q Tip. The admonition “Remember that you are dust…” (or “Repent and believe in the Gospel”) will be said only once as the minister begins. Ashes are then imposed in silence and the faithful leave the church immediately.
