Calling All Eucharistic Ministers!

(and those who want to help homebound neighbors)

As we get back to all of our outreach services, our parish finds itself in great need of Eucharistic Ministers to our homebound brothers and sisters, as well as our neighboring nursing homes. The Eucharistic Ministry to the Homebound and Nursing Homes is a very rewarding ministry indeed. Most of those you will visit are parishioners who have served our parish and the church all of their lives. These visits keep them connected to our parish and the church in a way only the Eucharist can.

Visits to the homebound can be scheduled at your convenience and are usually once a week, once every other week or once a month. Nursing Home visits are twice monthly on Wednesday at 2 pm at Mercerville Nursing Center and twice monthly on Wednesday at 2 pm at Hamilton Grove. You may decide to take only 1 or 2 Wednesdays. Visits to the nursing homes usually take about an hour.
