Catechetical Sunday

Today the Church celebrates Catechetical Sunday, a day to honor the ministry of those who teach the Faith within religious education programs and in the process of Adult Christian Initiation. Our parish is indeed blessed with many volunteers who offer their time and talent to this vital ministry. Today our classes begin for our young parishioners who are in Kindergarten to eighth grade.

A special blessing and commissioning will be imparted to our catechists during the 11:00 am Mass today. We offer them our prayers as they undertake this work and thank them for their generosity.
