Catechists Needed

Are you:

• A believing, practicing Catholic who participates in the liturgical life of this community?
• Dedicated to living out your Baptismal call to service?
• Comfortable with communications about your faith?
• At least 18 years of age or older?
• Committed to the teachings of the Catholic Church, her doctrines, traditions, and magisterium?
• Willing to be trained and certified as a catechist?
• Amenable to being fingerprinted and background checked?

The Office of Religious Education is currently interviewing candidates for volunteer positions as catechists for Sunday mornings, Monday afternoons, and Wednesday evenings. No previous experience is necessary. We will train qualified volunteers to: articulate their Catholic Faith, communicate with students, plan and conduct a catechetical sessions and use a variety of catechetical methods effectively.
