Confirmation Candidates Pizza With the Pastor

Monsignor Gervasio hosted a special pizza dinner at Villa Maria Restaurant for Confirmation candidates, creating a warm and inviting space for both faith discussions and fellowship. The evening centered around the candidates’ questions, which were submitted a week prior, and organized into categories: Confirmation, Theology, and Personal Queries.

The evening began with prayer, followed by Monsignor humbly serving pizza to the group, embodying servant leadership. As they dined, he moved between tables, engaging in personal conversations with the candidates.

The heartfelt questions, many which focused on the Sacrament of Confirmation, sparked meaningful discussions. Candidates asked about the Holy Spirit’s role in Confirmation, its origins, and its necessity in the Church, reflecting a deep thirst for understanding.
