Congratulations!

Our parish family joins in congratulating Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri, our parishioner who recently received the 2020 Advocacy Champion Award from the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking.

Onofri serves as vice-chairman of the state Commission on Human Trafficking and president of the County Prosecutors Association of New Jersey. Formed in 2011, the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking consists of more than 180 statewide diverse groups of nonprofits, faith-based organizations, government agencies, academics, law enforcement, and direct service providers. The organization is a hub of community efforts statewide to increase coordination and visibility of New Jersey’s commitment to end human trafficking. We can be justly proud that “one of our own” is doing so much to promote justice and uphold the dignity of the human person.
