Evening of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children

Evening of Prayer - January 22, 2020

In observance of the 47 ^th anniversary of Roe v Wade, the 1973 US Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion, St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish's Respect Life Committee invite you to an Evening of Prayer on Wednesday, January 22 beginning with the 6:30 pm Mass in St. Raphael Church (3500 S Broad St, Hamilton).

The Catholic bishops of the US have designated January 22 as a day of prayer and penance, called the “Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.” The Evening of Prayer includes

• Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament,
• recitation of the Rosary,
• Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and
• Benediction.

Since 1973 more than 60 million babies’ lives have been lost to abortion in the US. Join us in praying for an end to abortion. Respect life materials will be available in the Narthex.
