Happy Feast Day!

This weekend we celebrate our patronal feast. While the Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows is celebrated on September 15, liturgical norms allow the liturgy of the Memorial to replace that of a Sunday in Ordinary Time when the feast is that of a parish patron. In fact, it is observed as a “solemnity.” Let us celebrate Our Lady’s Day thanking her for her past blessings and invoke her maternal intercession for the future.
