Holy Name Society (HNS) is a men’s international confraternity founded to promote reverence for the Sacred Name Jesus Christ, obedience and loyalty to the Magisterium of the Church, and the personal sanctification of its members. Members are called to contribute to the Church’s mission of evangelization and to make acts of reverence and love for our Lord and to carry the spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
Our HNS invites the men of our parish to be a part of this great endeavor. Our meetings are held on the 3rd Friday of every month at Noon in the parish library at Our Lady of Sorrows. If your schedule does not allow you to attend the meetings, you can still participate by helping the Society carry out its many charitable works. Among these is a monetary award that is given each year to graduates of our school during their commencement ceremony.
Your support would be very much appreciated. If you would like to help us, please complete the form in this week's bulletin with any donation your means allow. Please return it by way of the Sunday collection in an envelope marked Holy Name Society or by dropping it off or mailing it to the parish office.
