Palms and Ashes

"Remember, man, that you are dust
And to dust you will return."

The penitential season of Lent begins on March 5. On the weekends of February 22-23 and March 1-2, you may bring in all old palms to be burned and used for ashes on Ash Wednesday. On these weekends, there will be baskets at all the exit doors to hold the palms.
